What is DRE? What is electronic Voting system? Electronic voting system in a narrow sense, it is generally perceived that machines have functions of voting process operated with electronic device such as touch-screen or other types of interfaces. On the other hand, in a broad sense voting technique as OMR, punch-card or Internet voting should be included into this category. @ DRE (Direct Recording Electronic) The most recent configuration in the evolution of voting systems are known as direct recording electronic. Some of the advanced research and development of DRE have been taken place in many developed countries. In recent years, the touch-screen system that the voter directly enters choices in the screen has been among the most widely used. DRE contains cast votes into electronic storage with the use of a touch-screen, push buttons or similar device. With the lever machines or OMR, as we have seen problems in the US Presidential Election 2000, there has been an issue of accurate tabulation. DRE solves this issue since all the digital election data do not have such problems. And another advantage of the touch-screen is that only change in the software is necessary to adopt any types of election that the push button could not accommodate all types of elections. Internet Voting Internet Voting, through individual personal computers, was tentatively implemented for Democrats Party Primary Election in Arizona. It was reported that voter turnout dramatically increased as a result. However, Internet voting faces a fundamental issue that it is almost impossible to confirm whether or not a voter casts a vote with free will. Inducement of either menace or bribe could be hardly prevented. The secrecy of vote ought to be protected no matter what it takes for any elections taken place in public.
