New Media Development Association consigned EVS, a group of consortium that NTT Data was as the main contractor for this project, to develop electronic voting machines to support private ballot access for a barrier free purpose. It is very important to develop the infrastructure of accessibility of elections for elderly person and physically disables person using information technology that could guarantee to feel a sense of public participation without any obstruct. Accordance with the existing election system, voting accessibility is not quite open for every eligible voter. The purpose of developing the electronic voting machineries would be designed to help visually impaired, physically disables person who is bedridden and any other types of difficulties to access to polling stations.

Besides those basic functions, futures of this system are adoption of multilingual and multi-elections added to the affluent optional functions that could easily modify for the wide rage of election systems
